What to know before you book:

– We welcome up to 2 dogs – we’re always happy to chat if you have something different in mind. Please bear in mind the space is compact.

– The cabin is within the grounds of our family home, and dogs must be kept on a lead at all times outside of the cabin enclosure.

– We kindly ask that dogs stay off the bed and furniture – thank you for your understanding.

– There are fantastic walks directly from the site, including public footpaths and countryside routes, perfect for daily adventures.

– Please bring your dog’s own bed and food to help them feel at home.

Whether you’re here for a weekend escape or a longer rural retreat, our pet friendly getaway in Northumberland is ready to welcome you both.

 Verified The Fox’s Den is a beautiful lodge retreat! Perfect for a quiet weekend in, this place is like a home away from home! Exactly as described and shown in pictures, the Fox’s Den provides a scenic, peaceful stay in the English countryside. The hot tub, fire pit and barbecue were an added bonus too! Louise was such an amazing host - everything you could possibly think of was provided, and we were made to feel so welcome.  Verified Everything with our stay was perfect. The whole area was spotless and every detail had been thought out. (Robes, Bacon & Eggs for breakfast, Coffee Pods etc) We used the hot tub, fire pit & BBQ during our stay, all of which were very clearly well maintained and made the stay feel luxurious. Louise was brilliant from initial booking to check out, she provided us with plenty of information and helpful guidance prior to our visit and her husband greeted us at check in. We felt they were both so helpful but not intrusive at the same time. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for another visit!

Really responsive and even brought up some cushioned seats for the outside fire for us both!!The space was spotlessly clean too!The hot tub was so relaxing at night, watching the planes come over with connecting Bluetooth so we could have music on at the same time,She even provided some fresh bacon and cobs for us so had some bacon cobs in the morning 🌅 Myself and my partner had a lovely time and would 100% stay again, I look forward to coming back :)

 Verified My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay here for his birthday—complete with gorgeous weather! We were looking for a quiet escape from the city, and that’s exactly what we got. Upon arrival, we were greeted with champagne and balloons, and when I opened the fridge, I found fresh milk, eggs, and bacon from the nearby farm shop—courtesy of Louise, the absolute legend! She even left soft, delicious baps in the cupboard for us.A few minutes after we arrived, I messaged Louise just to check in, and she came right over to show us how everything worked, including the hot tub. She was so warm and welcoming—you can tell she genuinely cares about making your stay special.Our days were spent watching pheasants and bunnies in the fields, reading in the sunshine, and our nights were filled with dips in the hot tub and cozying up by the fire pit.If you’re in need of a peaceful getaway, I can’t recommend this hut enough! x

				An absolutely stunning place, with breathtaking views and the loveliest hosts. We had such a wonderful stay and genuinely didn’t want to leave — we will definitely be back!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the hot tub was fantastic, and the brilliant screen meant we could even watch films while soaking in the tub. Star Trek was our choice… absolutely no idea why! 😂

But what really makes this place special is how peaceful and restorative it feels. In a world where work and life seem to move at such a relentless pace, Inn Green Fields gives you the chance to slow down, breathe, and simply switch off.

It’s the kind of place where you arrive stressed and leave feeling completely recharged. We loved every minute of our stay and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Truly amazing!

				Just back from a little break here and wow it is amazing, loads of thought has gone into your stay, and loads of fantastic little extras help to give you an amazing experience, we stayed with our dog and it was great for him too, with a fully enclosed garden and pet bowls,towels and blankets even some little treats so you don’t need to pack all of their things too , lovely and clean too 5 stars from us x

				We had the most amazing stay at In Greenfields and honestly felt like we were able to completely switch off.

We usually find when we stay at lodges that we still end up watching quite a bit of TV in the evenings, but this was completely different. The outdoor space meant we spent almost all of our time outside — cooking every meal on the grill, eating outdoors, relaxing in the hot tub, and just enjoying proper quality time together. I think we only watched one or two shows when we had a little bit of rain!

The garden was absolutely perfect for the dogs too. They loved having the freedom to run around and explore, with so many plants and trees to sniff. Seeing them so happy made the stay even better.

The thing that made it really special was how peaceful and private it felt. We genuinely felt like we were completely alone (apart from the dogs of course 😂) and it gave us the chance to properly relax and spend time together without distractions.

It would be perfect for couples, dog owners, or anyone who just wants a quiet getaway where you can slow down and enjoy each other’s company.

The little touches were also lovely — the rosé prosecco, bacon, buns, milk, treats for us and treats for the pups. Everything had been thought about and it made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived.

We honestly didn’t want to leave — in fact, we had already booked to come back again in October before our stay had even ended! I think that says everything about how much we loved it.

We came away feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. It really was such a special place and we can’t wait to return.
