10/10 stay for our 3 year anniversary ! The experience was beyond our expectations and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a staycation within the north east area. Heating was amazing, everything was clean and felt very safe, private and comfortable. Loved the projector screen and hot tub alongside the robes and slippers which made the night even more special. The additional foody bits and snacks included was a great touch. Loved the attention to detail in the modern interiors/decoration. Thank you so much 😊 - 25/01/26

What a beautiful place to be ! We went while it was snowing. watching the sun set over the fields while basking in a hot tub is an experience we won't forget. The Shepherds hut was lovely and warm all night and then in the morning we had the sun rise over snow covered fields and rolling hills. It was breathtaking. Recommended 1000% - 21/11/25 

We stayed on Friday and Saturday night. This place is exceptional !!! Absolutely private. The hottub and firepit area were fantastic. It was spotlessly clean throughout and everything needed was provided. The little extras ( Bacon, Eggs, Bread, Coffee, Tea ) etc. etc.... made the stay extra special. Our first ever stay in a Shepherd’s Hut for me and Gordon, and we loved it. Louise was so welcoming and provided great supplies like milk, rolls, butter, bacon and eggs. She had thought of everything. The hut itself has five star amenities inside and out and was cosy and comfortable. The location is a great base for exploring the eastern end of the Hadrian’s Wall area. We enjoyed visits to Heddon-on-the Wall, Corbridge Roman town, Hexham and on the way home the Keilder Forest Sky Space. All really worth a visit. Highly recommended. - 25/10/25 

Amazing from start to finish ! We visited with our little Frenchie and it was the perfect stay ! Enclosed spaced for our dog to run around, hot tub, projector, fire pit the list goes on. Every detail has been thought of and anything you think you need they have already got. Louise is a great host and so friendly, answered any questions we had.
